OHAI GUYS I’M STILL ALIVE. The second sem’s started on the 9th and I’m not enjoying a bit of it because homeworks are starting to pile up yawww. My boyfriend’s flew back to Manila on the 2nd and I’m missing him too.

1. (09/01) Tryna look busy during Grey Matters class. We’re having a project lamely called the Grey Project. The objective of this project is to ~subconciously~ mindfuck the foundation students by letting us do aimless research without worrying for a concrete conclusion. What is this.

2. (10/01) While waiting for the Google Sketchup lecturer to arrive. I swear this is the first time that I see a lecturer coming to class half an hour late. He prolly forgot that he has a Tuesday A.M. class? And did I mention that he’s my 3D lecturer as well?!?!

3. Today is the first day of LASALLE’s open house and judging by the foundation students’ chosen works in the exhibit, I think I should really get my head in the game or else I’ll cite more High School Musical-y song references on my future posts. Meh. My classmate Rifqi and I headed to Haji Lane to meet up with his Filipino BFF, Yumi and go for a shisha sesh. I still can’t believe she’s 16. She looks mature for her age and I mean this in the nicest way possible.

I’m supposed to work in an event later at 9am til 5pm but I received an e-mail 4 hours ago saying that it’s cancelled. I won’t call cancelling a job/event at 1am very professional. Anypoo, it’s my dad’s birthday today so I’m gonna hit the sheets and hope for a good day which will consist of dinner+a bit of shopping. x

Happy 2012 marfakkas! I spent the last day of 2011 with my boyfriend. How our day went:

  • I received a letter from the police stating that they have found some of my belongings. Must be my wallet! And my identification card! And my debit card! And my $$$! Nothing’s wrong with hoping.. ;) BUT! We found out that the police station closes on NYE. This is the first time that I’ve heard of a police station closing on the eve of a holiday…
  • Dinner in City Hall + headed to MBS afterwards to take photos then bought our survival kit (sushi, a big bottle of water, beer, and sticks). FUN PART: Joe dropped one of the sushi packs that we got and everything rolled to the floor. We put back everything in though OMG ULTIMATE PRANK OF 2011 HAH I kinda feel sorry for whoever’s gonna get that pack, tsk.
  • A Filipino lady who’s working in TWG asked us if she can cut into the queue. Being the ever-good Samaritans that we are (first joke of 2012), we let her do so. In return we got free pastries from TWG!! Yay! What you reap is what you sow, people.
  • Caught the fireworks display, stood in awe, and tried to outwalk everyone who was obviously trying to outwalk everyone else on their way to the train station. The crowd was too huge to be contained in the stations/bus stops (obviously) so everyone was walking in a turtle-like pace. We seemed like refugees from the zombie apocalypse or something. Walked from Marina to Clarke Quay station for an hour+ and miraculously got to board the train.
  • Joe gave me a wrist watch. Thanks dear♥

SO YUP, that is all. If the photos seem so few, it’s because my camera’s battery got depleted during the fireworks display. Hope everyone had fun as much as I did (yes, that’s my idea of fun). Happy 2012, errone. Don’t let the Mayans ruin the year.

Post Christmas date with my girls! Had early dinner in Marina Bay Sands which consisted of Pinoy food and some frappe in Marina Square before going home with Joe.

Judging by the amount of black and boring colors that I’m wearing, I think I’m beginning to look like a goth girl..or maybe I’ve just absorbed too much Lasalle into my system. And I think I’ve finally achieved the hair color/s that I’ve been wanting to have since I was 15: a not-so-flat red with hints of orange. Hurrah for hair dyeing disasters.

all of the lights

Boxing Day with the boyfriend (I really don’t have to state it) and YES we have worn our deer antlers in public. A lot of people were staring but we didn’t mind. One thing we’ve noticed is that the Caucasians were more appreciative of this joke our effort to look Christmas-y than the locals did. Killjoysss loljk anyway, we spent the day eating, watching Alvin and The Chipmunks (and we looked like endorsers or fans. We were even sitting two rows away from the screen….), and taking photos and videos. The cross necklace in the photos was bought in ION just a few minutes before I met up with him :) headed home early and chowed down on homemade ice cream cake.
