Yesterday was my interview at LASALLE…’twas intense and tiring! Went to school at 10.30am to verify if my interview’s in the morning or at 2pm (my interview sched form and their e-mail indicated different timing)…I was really nervous and I still had no passport-sized photo so I told the admissions exec to move my interview at 2pm. Andie, Joe’s sis, was supposed to accompany me to school but she wasn’t feeling well so yeaahh while waiting for my interview I wandered around Bugis Street by myself D:

The interviewers-slash-lecturers were very critical of our portfolios and did not tell us “senseless fluff” just to make us feel good. The interview lasted for 4 hours (much longer than the usual 2 hours) but good thing I managed to get through it. There were 3 parts in the interview: the first part was the portfolio itself, second was the presentation of our best work, and the third was group discussion on the topic “what does it mean to be creative”. According to the lecturers, my strength was the group discussion coz I acted like a “leader” and prompted my group mates whenever they couldn’t say anything, haha! Anddd my weakness was *drum roll* my portfolio. Well…I think so too! There’s not much variety in it. Anyhoo, they’ll be sending us the formal letter of offer in about 2 weeks…I’m sexcited! OHAI, LASALLE College of The Arts. ;)
